Axion 2 offers a new approach to image optimization tailored to observation purposes and conditions, delivering high-quality rendering of both target objects and background. Three amplification levels combined with a smoothing filter and fine brightness and contrast adjustments provide hunters with great opportunities for long-distance animal detection under various weather and temperature conditions.

Axion is designed for constant, often demanding use. Its magnesium alloy housing is lightweight yet strong. The case reliably protects the internal components of the thermal imaging device from shocks, drops, moisture, heat, or cold. At the same time, the metal housing efficiently dissipates heat from the electronics, minimizes image noise, and enhances consistent device performance during extended observation sessions.

The Axion 2 monocular is equipped with European Lynred sensors with a resolution of 384x288 pixels (pixel size 17 µm), which effectively capture a useful signal even in challenging observation conditions such as rain, fog, and high atmospheric humidity at the observation site.

A high-capacity APS5 rechargeable battery provides up to 11 hours of continuous operation on a single charge. The battery can be replaced with a new one in seconds. APS5 charges via a specialized charger or inside the device from a PC, household power system, or power bank through USB-C.

Use brightness and contrast settings to maximize image detail and informational value under specific observation conditions. The User Mode saves the selected brightness and contrast settings in the device memory, providing optimal image quality for the next use of the thermal camera immediately, without additional adjustments.

The built-in Wi-Fi module connects the Axion 2 PRO to Android and iOS smartphones via the Stream Vision 2 mobile app. This opens up a wide range of options, including software updates, real-time image streaming directly to your smartphone, sharing photo and video content captured by the device on social networks, remote control of the device, and access to the latest news from Pulsar. Additionally, registered users receive 16 GB of cloud storage.

Understanding target distance is essential for making correct decisions. An integrated laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1 kilometer allows you to measure distances in single measurements and continuous scanning modes with an accuracy of ±1 meter for quick and error-free situation assessment.

The Axion 2 PRO features a built-in video recorder. Its internal memory can store hours of video and tens of thousands of photos. A single button press is enough to capture a photo of an interesting scene or start video recording.

With an IPX7 protection rating, the device is water-resistant, providing protection against heavy rain, snow, or other precipitation. The unit is designed to perform flawlessly even after being submerged up to 1 meter underwater for up to 30 minutes.

Axion 2 has a short startup time: the device is fully functional within 5 seconds after pressing the ON button. Quick startup helps conserve battery power: when hunting, Axion 2 does not need to be kept ready at all times, simply turn it on when needed.

A range of 8 color palettes allows optimizing the unit for specific tasks. White Hot, Black Hot, and Red Hot are optimal for object detection; Rainbow and Ultramarine enhance recognition and identification potential; Red Monochrome, Sepia, and Violet are best suited for extended nighttime observation.
