Preston Solid Window Feeder Basket, Small

Window Feeders are baskets closed at both ends with a "window" cut out on the side for easy loading. The window is thumb-sized for easy one-handed loading. Thanks to the lead positioned at the base of the basket, precision casting at long distances is no longer an issue. With the lead positioned at the bottom, the basket will have a straight trajectory, creating a very narrow bait bed and consequently a higher fish density near the hook. It offers maximum accuracy even in crosswind conditions.

The body shape and side cutout allow for loading the maximum amount of particles (seeds, pellets) or live bait without needing a large amount of groundbait. Unlike classic baskets open at both ends, which require two "caps" of groundbait, the particles in the window basket can be secured with a single groundbait cap that stays in place during the cast, thanks to the shape and weight positioned at the bottom.

Thanks to the specially designed interior chamber with an angled base and strategically positioned side holes, the basket will only release its contents once it reaches the bottom, making it ideal for fishing in deep waters. They are perfect for selective fishing where the focus is mainly on particle baiting, without loading the swim with groundbait that would attract small fish.
