Preston Caged Window Feeder Basket, Small

The Window Feeder baskets are closed at both ends with a cut-out window on the side for loading. The window is thumb-sized for easy one-handed loading. Thanks to the weight positioned at the base of the basket, precision long-distance casting won’t be a problem. With the weight at the bottom, the basket will have a straight trajectory, creating a very narrow bait bed and consequently a higher density of fish around the hook. It offers maximum accuracy even in crosswind conditions.

The body shape and side cut-out allow loading with a large amount of particles (seeds, pellets) or live bait without needing a lot of groundbait. Unlike classic baskets open at both ends, which require two "caps" of groundbait, particles in the window basket can be secured with a single groundbait cap that stays in place during the cast thanks to its shape and the weight at the bottom.

Thanks to the specially designed inner chamber with an angled base and strategically placed side holes, the basket will release most of its contents upon hitting the bottom, making it suitable for fishing in medium to deep waters. Ideal for situations where selective fishing is desired, based primarily on particle baiting, without overloading the swim with groundbait that would attract smaller fish.
