This heater is safe for use inside small recreational spaces that have means to provide combustion air and ventilation such as tents, enclosed patios, hunting shelters, and more. It can also be used for emergency indoor heating when connected to a 450g butane/propane mix cartridge such as the Coleman C500 Performance valve cartridge in worker containers, RVs, or temporary spaces. Operating time depends on the selected power level and is approximately between three and six hours with a 450g butane/propane mix cartridge (70/30). When connected to 2 cartridges, on the minimum heating level, the autonomy will be longer.

Note: The electrical functions (fan, lamp, and USB charging station) operate with a DeWalt 18V Li-Ion XR and XR Flexvolt battery - DCB180, DCB181, DCB182, DCB183, DCB183B, DCB184, DCB185, and DCB186. Charging any of the batteries mentioned above can be done with the DeWALT DCB118 charger. The charger and battery are not included in the package. They can be purchased separately if you do not already use DeWALT power tools that use these batteries.
