The Shimano Stinger Butterfly Flat Light is a pilker designed for Light Jigging techniques, both for vertical jigging and for casting. Its flat, asymmetrical body produces an unpredictable action on the fall, imitating the movement of an injured baitfish. The compact profile allows a fast descent to the active fish zone, and the immediate response to rod work provides very good control over the lure.

The Flat Light model can be used with steady retrieves, short jerks or with the "lift & fall" technique, where the oscillating motion during the fall can trigger strikes from predators. It comes factory-equipped with an Assist Hook and is recommended for saltwater fishing for pelagic and bottom species.
