The PENN Slammer IV reel benefits from the latest technologies available on the market and runs much smoother thanks to the 9 (8+1) sealed stainless steel ball bearings. By combining CNC Gear™ patented technology with brass gears, the Sealed Slammer® braking system made of Dura-Drag material, an aluminum spool, and a metal body, the Slammer IV series withstands even the toughest fishing conditions with large specimens.

It also features an IPX6 waterproof rating that provides total protection for the internal mechanisms, ensuring flawless reel performance for an extended period. The Instant Anti-Reverse bearing eliminates even the slightest rotor backplay and helps deliver a firm hookset every time. The metal knob fits perfectly in the anglers' hand. Slammer IV reels ranging from sizes 3500 to 10500 come with an additional EVA material knob that offers extra grip even when your hands are wet.
