The Penn Retaliate Lever Drag is a compact, powerful conventional reel designed for deep-water jigging and for fighting fast or large fish. A fully forged aluminum construction and CNC-machined spool provide maximum rigidity and resistance to extreme loads. Stainless steel gears deliver efficient power transfer and durability under heavy use.

The compact design is achieved by integrating the side plate with the frame, allowing quick access to the drag lever and precise control when dropping the jig. The Dura-Drag system maintains consistent performance even in harsh saltwater conditions, and protected stainless steel bearings ensure smooth, reliable operation.

The reel is equipped with a Pull-To-Turn preset button to prevent accidental drag changes, an ergonomic jigging handle, and the option to fit the handle in two lengths. It comes with an additional oval-shaped knob to suit your preferred fishing style.
