The body and side plates are machined from high-strength, lightweight anodized aluminum of superior quality. The gearing is done through a system of stainless steel gears for durability and speed, while the Dura-Drag system ensures smooth startup and nearly eliminates hesitation, even under extreme drag conditions. Equipped with the Quick-Shift II™ system for fast switching between two speeds, Versa-Strike for adjusting the drag start point, and a double-pawl anti-reverse system, this product provides line capacity rings. Manufactured in Philadelphia, this multiplying reel is the result of Penn’s long-standing experience since 1932 in producing durable, high-quality reels.
