Simms was founded in 1980 by a visionary angler and longtime guide John Simms. After spending decades providing clients with life-changing experiences on the world’s most majestic rivers, John realized that the waterproof gear available at the time didn’t meet the needs of keeping top anglers dry, comfortable, and safe on the water. So, he set out to create gear worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get on the water earlier and stay out longer in any weather.

The Waypoints Pant is part of Simms' portfolio. These 100% waterproof pants can save your fishing trips. Crafted from lightweight, packable, waterproof, breathable nylon with 2.5 layers of Toray 50D and DWR rain protection, they offer stretch for enhanced comfort. An elastic waistband, zipper, and fabric belt loops secure the pants. Side access zippers serve a dual purpose: they run inside the pants to access the clothing underneath and lead to their generous pockets. Articulated seams at the knees and legs allow for freer, more natural movement, while the lower leg area can be adjusted with an attached velcro strap.
