The Owner Kizuna X8 EX Broad PE is a next-generation multifilament line, made 100% in Japan from the highest quality fibers, braided using a unique technology. The machines producing this line are developed and manufactured in Japan. The technology used is called ALB (Anti Loosen Braided), which produces a line that is more twisted than braided. Essentially, raw material strands are twisted and tensioned to create Kizuna. The result is a unique multifilament renowned for its strength and suppleness. The line is braided from 8 raw strands until it gains the consistency and appearance of a twisted rope. Usually, according to existing and previously practiced technologies, the strands were braided in the same direction or rotation. However, ALB technology mixes different directions and rotation senses to obtain an exceptionally durable texture.
