The Opinel Nr.08 Pruning Pocket Knife is a pocket knife used as a gardening tool for cutting branches, seedlings on shrubs, trees, and bushes of various sizes to encourage healthy growth. It is a knife with a total length of 19cm weighing only 47g. The blade is made of stainless steel and modified Sandvik 12C27 steel, which unlike "carbon steel" does not rust. It has high corrosion resistance due to the addition of chromium and has undergone a special heat treatment, giving it a hardness of 57-58HRC. 

The ergonomic handle is made of beechwood, resistant to moisture and extreme temperatures (between -40 and +80 degrees C), slightly widened at the end, which makes holding the knife comfortable and prevents slipping during use. It is equipped with a Virobloc locking system – this locks the blade in the open or closed position, making it easy and safe to store and carry. This pocket knife comes packaged in a cardboard box.
