The Opinel Nr.10 Slim Line Pocket Knife is a pocket knife from the Slim Line series, measuring 22.5cm in total length and weighing only 47g. Its narrow blade makes it ideal for tasks like filleting fish and cutting fine, thin slices. The blade is made from Sandvik 12C27 modified stainless steel, highly resistant to corrosion thanks to the addition of chromium, and has undergone a special heat treatment resulting in a hardness of 57-58HRC. This knife is truly razor-sharp, and the blade is so polished it has a beautiful mirror-like finish.

The ergonomic handle is made from bubinga wood, which is resistant to moisture and extreme temperatures (between -40 and +80 degrees C). Bubinga wood is a reddish-brown hardwood from the central and western African forests. Its rich color contrasts beautifully with the glossy polished blade. A special wax has been applied to the handle, making it smooth and soft to the touch. It features a Virobloc locking system – this locks the blade both in the open and closed positions, making it safe and easy to store and carry.

NOTE: To enjoy your Opinel pocket knife for as long as possible, maintenance is essential. A drop of Ballistol oil prevents the wood from drying out and ensures it retains its color. Don’t forget to oil the hinges as well, so the ring mechanism operates smoothly. You can restore the blade's razor-sharp edge using Opinel sharpening stones. Always store the knife properly in a suitable sheath to prevent metal damage. Prolonged exposure to sunlight can discolor the wood, so always store the knife away from sunlight after use.
