Okuma Scorpio FD Reel

The new Scorpio FD model features a compact graphite body, providing increased corrosion resistance. The 5 high-performance ball bearings (4BB + 1RB), combined with the precisely cut brass pinion gear and the elliptical gearing system (Precision Elliptical Gearing System) deliver smoothness, power, and precision during operation. The standard CNC-machined aluminum spool is exclusively painted in two tones (metallic black and violet). 

The reel's front multi-disc drag system (Drag System Oiled Felt) is equipped with both steel discs and oil-impregnated felt discs manufactured in Japan. The CFR technology creates a cyclonic airflow under the rotor, together with the computer-balanced rotor system (RESII Computer-Balanced Rotor System) providing precise balance that eliminates all reel vibrations for perfect part alignment and smooth operation.

The Infinite Anti-Reverse System (unidirectional roller bearing) allows the rotor to rotate in only one direction. Only top-quality steel parts with the tightest tolerances are used here. The "Even Flow Roller System" technology reduces line twist through frictionless free rolling of the line roller, preventing line breakage. The anodized Gunsmoke pick-up arm, graphite spare spool, Zink handle, and flat TPE handle knob complete the reel’s features.

NOTE: Reels in sizes 1000, 2000, 2500, and 3000 come with an "I" type knob, while the 4000 size is equipped with a "T" type knob.
