The Safina PRO FD is a compact and lightweight reel built around a graphite body, providing enhanced corrosion resistance. The 4 high-performance ball bearings (3BB + 1RB), together with the precisely machined brass pinion gear and computer-balanced rotor system (RESII Computer-Balanced Rotor System), deliver precise balance that eliminates all reel vibrations for perfect component alignment and smooth operation.

The standard CNC-machined aluminum spool is exclusively painted in two tones (metallic silver and blue). The front drag is a multi-disc system (Drag System Oiled Felt) equipped with both steel discs and oil-impregnated felt discs made in Japan. The CFR (Cyclonic Flow Rotor) technology produces a cyclonic airflow that minimizes water intrusion and, consequently, internal corrosion.

The Infinite Anti-Reverse system (unidirectional roller bearing) allows the rotor to rotate in only one direction. Only the highest-quality steel parts with the tightest tolerances are used here. The "Even Flow Roller System" reduces line twist by allowing the bail roller to spin freely without friction, preventing line breakage. A strong pick-up wire, graphite handle, and flat TPE knob complete the reel’s features.

NOTE: Sizes 1000, 2000, 2500, and 3000 come with an "I" type knob, while sizes 4000 and 6000 feature a "T" type knob.
