The Okuma Ceymar XT Match FD is equipped with a precision elliptical gear system, featuring a specially designed Cyclonic Flow Rotor. The Precision Elliptical Gearing system reduces friction during casting for increased casting distance, improved accuracy, longer line life, as well as smooth operation and consistent drag force. It comes with an aluminum spool, a sturdy metal handle with an EVA knob, and includes a spare aluminum spool. The Cyclonic Flow Rotor (CFR) is engineered to create a "cyclonic" airflow, significantly increasing airflow through the rotor. This carefully tested design allows for much faster drying if the reel gets wet, minimizing the risk of external corrosion. The CFR system also produces a lighter and stiffer rotor, reducing flex and rotational wobble and providing more precise mechanical operation. Additionally, the RESII computer-balanced rotor system precisely balances and eliminates all spool vibrations for perfect alignment and smooth handling.
