Okuma Carbonite Match Reel

The Okuma Carbonite Match Reel features a very lightweight corrosion-resistant graphite body, graphite spool (plus a spare graphite spool), computer-balanced rotor, Quick-Set Anti-Reverse system, CFR (Cyclonic Flow Rotor) system, precision gears, and a brass main gear. The Cyclonic Flow Rotor (CFR) is designed to create a "cyclonic" airflow that significantly increases the airflow through the rotor. This carefully tested design allows for much faster drying if the reel gets wet, minimizing the chance of corrosion on the outside. The CFR system also creates a lighter and stiffer rotor, which reduces flex and wobble and produces smoother mechanical operation. Additionally, the RESII computer-balanced rotor system precisely balances and eliminates all spool wobble for perfect alignment and smooth handling.
