Nash Carp Care Easy Float Retainer Sling Camo Weighing and Retention Sling

The Nash Carp Care Easy Float Retainer Sling Camo is a multifunctional system for weighing, temporarily retaining and photographing carp in the water. This model builds on the Nash Failsafe Retainer concept and quickly converts from a retention sling into an open floating cradle, offering extra safety and control when photographing fish.

If the fish becomes restless during photography, it can be lowered straight back into the open Easy Float Retainer, where it can recover in the water for a short time before another attempt. This reduces handling and the risk of the fish escaping during photography.

Switching between retention mode and the open floating configuration requires no additional components. The folding arms allow the setup to be changed quickly and also make the sling more compact for transport.

The sides and base are made from soft, fish-friendly mesh that allows water to flow through quickly. This helps drain water before weighing for more accurate results and allows the material to dry quickly after use.

The camo-finish top panel reduces light penetration while the fish is being retained, helping to minimise stress and aid recovery. The paracord retention cord is fully reflective, making it easy to spot in torchlight, and can be stored in a dedicated pocket to reduce the risk of tripping.

The cord features a large split ring with a 3/8" thread, allowing it to be secured with a bankstick, positioned over a bankstick or screwed directly into one. The heavy-duty zip features a locking system to prevent it from opening accidentally while retaining a fish.

The Easy Float Retainer can also be used as a weigh sling, with reinforced stress points and a shaped base designed to accommodate the carp’s profile. Finished in Nash Subterfuge Camo, it comes with a roll-top carry bag.
