The Nash Carp Care Deluxe Beanie Mat XL is an unhooking mat designed to protect carp while unhooking, weighing and photographing them. Its XL design provides plenty of space, while the two-layer base combines high-density foam with a top layer of synthetic bead filling for extra cushioning.

The bottom layer uses 70mm-thick high-density foam, while the top layer features synthetic bead filling that moulds to the shape of the fish. A 50mm-high and 50mm-wide high-density foam border keeps the filling concentrated in the centre of the mat and helps protect the fish during handling.

The mat comes with a retention cover secured with Velcro, helping keep the fish safe on the mat. When not in use, the cover can be secured using the elastic loops and dedicated fasteners.

A Velcro pocket keeps carp care products or forceps close at hand, while the integrated handles make the mat easy to carry. The corner attachment rings allow the mat to be pegged to the ground and can also be used to attach a Nash Subterfuge shoulder strap, available separately.
