The Rapala RCD Mag Spring Pliers feature a straight jaw with a "power claw" profile (fits perfectly in the hand), made from 420 stainless steel plated with a high-quality nickel alloy, providing excellent corrosion resistance. The durable stainless steel jaws with a metallic finish have micro-serrations on the inside for a perfect grip. The pliers have a Gunmetal Grey finish, and the handles are covered with non-slip plastic for a very secure hold, even with wet hands.

These multifunctional pliers operate on a "Mag-Spring" mechanism (consisting of two opposing magnets that repel each other), allowing the jaws to stay permanently open for much easier one-handed operation. Unlike traditional spring mechanisms, the magnets will not lose their power over time. With these pliers, you can crimp single or double sleeves when making your own leaders from Teflon, fluorocarbon, or kevlar. They can also be used for cutting lines, or as cutters, dehookers, line clippers, etc.
