The baiting rig or feeder rig is the most popular setup used in carp fishing. The key elements of this fishing style are location, competition, and the continuous feeding focus of the carp. Spots with structures frequented by carp are ideal for this fishing style. The bait on the feeder will contain seeds, broken cereals, corn, hemp, pellets, or maize to keep the carp busy and feeding actively on the swim.

For the "mouse" rig of 55cm length, the following accessories were used: main braided line with 25lbs breaking strength, size 6 hook (parrot beak model), 15lbs braided line for rig tying, silicone stopper, quick clip with swivel, anti-tangle cone, rigid plastic stem (23cm), and an 80g spring-type plate feeder.

Thanks to its flat shape, the feeder will always rest correctly on the substrate, ensuring successful fishing. The stopper at the end of the varnished stem inserted into the feeder body helps create a self-hooking effect in the fish's mouth when it tastes the bait. Carp fishing with a feeder is more active than using other rigs that can stay in the water for over 24 hours. The feeder is loaded and relaunched at a short interval of 15-30 minutes.
