Shimano Technium A Mono is a monofilament line with very low stretch and fast-sinking properties, designed for high sensitivity, excellent control and increased abrasion resistance. The Triple Construction structure reduces stretch by approximately 50% compared to standard monofilaments, providing superior strike detection and faster response to hooksets, without the stiffness typical of braided lines.

The core layer delivers low-stretch performance, the intermediate layer provides suppleness and improved handling, and the outer layer protects against UV rays and enhances abrasion resistance. The smooth finish reduces friction in the guides, resulting in longer, cleaner casts. Technium is suitable for surfcasting, carp and feeder fishing, offering an ideal balance of sensitivity, power and control during the fight.
