The Minn Kota Riptide PowerDrive 70 MR is a bow-mount electric motor designed for saltwater and brackish water fishing. The motor delivers 70lbs of thrust, operates at 24V and features a 137cm composite shaft.

The Advanced GPS Navigation system enables precise control of boat position and movement. The Spot-Lock feature automatically holds the boat at a set location, while AutoPilot maintains course. The GPS system allows speed and heading control directly via the remote.

The MR variant is equipped with the Micro Remote, a compact remote designed to control the motor’s main functions. It allows operation without a foot pedal and provides quick access to GPS navigation features.

The Deploy-Assist system eases lowering and raising the motor, allowing quick transitions between deployed and stowed positions. Electric steering and continuous speed control enable precise maneuvering while fishing.

Riptide construction is engineered for marine use and benefits from advanced corrosion protection. The composite shaft offers high strength, and the lower unit is protected for repeated saltwater use.

Digital Maximizer technology manages power consumption based on the power level used, helping optimize battery runtime. The Push-to-Test battery meter allows quick verification of battery charge level.

This model does not include an integrated sonar transducer. The motor is compatible with appropriate Humminbird units via network connection.
