Minn Kota Riptide PowerDrive 55 MR is a bow-mount electric motor designed for saltwater and brackish water fishing. The motor delivers 55lbs of thrust, operates on 12V and features a 137cm shaft.

The integrated GPS system allows control of the boat's position and movement. The Spot-Lock feature automatically holds the boat at a GPS-set point, while AutoPilot maintains heading even in windy or current conditions.

The MR variant is equipped with Micro Remote, a compact remote that allows control of speed, direction and the motor's main GPS functions. This lets you control the motor remotely without using a foot pedal.

Riptide construction is engineered for marine use and includes corrosion-protected components. The Bowguard 360 Break-Away system allows the mount to give way in a controlled manner upon contact with an obstacle, helping protect the motor and the boat.

Digital Maximizer technology adjusts power consumption based on the power level used, helping to optimize battery runtime. Speed is continuously adjustable, allowing you to match boat speed to fishing conditions.

This configuration does not include an integrated sonar transducer. The motor is supplied with Micro Remote and a Weedless Wedge 2 propeller.
