The Mercury FourStroke V8 engines of 250 and 300 horsepower combine modern technology with the power and reliability necessary for top performance on the water. Built on a 4.6-liter V8 platform, this engine delivers quick acceleration, generous torque, and precise response regardless of load or speed.

The advanced design includes a performance-optimized induction system with Advanced Range Optimization dual active intake and a state-of-the-art electronic control system (SmartCraft), which optimizes fuel consumption and enhances the boating experience. The engine features Adaptive Speed Control technology, maintaining a constant RPM even in challenging conditions without frequent throttle adjustments.

The engine housing is designed to reduce noise and vibration levels, providing smooth and quiet operation. The thermostat cooling system, multi-point electronic fuel injection, and high-capacity alternator ensure reliability and high efficiency under any operating conditions.
