The Mepps Comet is a spinning lure specially designed for fishing small to medium-sized predators such as chub, trout, or perch. The brass pivot positioned between the blade and the lure body allows it to spin aggressively when retrieved, regardless of speed. The blade has a 45° rotation angle and continuously adjusts to current resistance, maintaining vibration levels even during very slow retrieves.

This spinner is best used in flowing waters where currents are interrupted by stones. The "will o' the wisp" action is also an excellent feature in still waters, where it can imitate a wounded fish in its final moments. The general rule is to use smaller sizes to catch smaller fish and larger spinners to catch bigger fish.

NOTE: The spinner is sold in a plastic blister pack for maximum protection during transport.
