Maver Jamie Hughes Series 5 Metal Keel Float

The Maver Jamie Hughes Series is a fixed float with a bulb-shaped polyurethane body and a metal keel (stem). The fixed plastic antenna is painted in fluorescent colors (red), providing enhanced visibility during nighttime. The keel is secured on the main line using silicone/plastic varnishes (the longer the stem, the more guiding varnishes are used). A metal guide ring is attached to the float's body (right at the base of the antenna), allowing the main line to be attached and slide freely. It is especially recommended when targeting roach, carp, barbel, ide, or medium to large tench.

TIP: Metal-stem floats offer increased stability, particularly when the line's shotting is spread out. They are ideal when you want to check if fish are present at depths other than the maximum set. During the hook's fall through the water column, any bite is signaled by the float even if it’s not vertical.
