Marttiini Fire Starter

The Marttiini fire starter is a very useful tool for starting a fire. A group of enthusiasts developed this simple device, resulting in a special alloy that produces a very hot spark when struck or scraped by a sharp object. It can be used professionally, but also for leisure. The magnesium alloy fire starter was designed to work flawlessly even in the most extreme conditions (wet or very low temperatures).

It should never be missing from your first aid kit: In an emergency, a fire can save your life. With the help of fire or smoke, you can send signals to rescue teams. Fire offers protection (from wild animals), warmth, drying of equipment, cooking, or it is the simplest and safest way to turn non-potable water into potable water. Traditional methods like matches and lighters are not reliable in strong winds, low temperatures, or wet conditions.

Features:

  • Produces sparks;
  • Rod length: 10cm;
  • Resistant to water and oil;
  • Hard metal that does not easily splinter;
  • High safety, does not ignite spontaneously;
  • Can be used for signaling (the spark generated has high luminosity and is visible from a great distance);
  • Tolerates temperature fluctuations;
  • Weight: 23g.
