Description caret-down

ICC First Class Twilight Tilt Buoy with Illuminated Head

ICC First Class Twilight Tilt Buoy with Illuminated Head is a luminous buoy that can be used in waters with depths ranging from 0.7m to a maximum of 6.25 meters. The system consists of a set of screwable and flexible PE tubes that submerge in the water, right next to the baited spot. The idea is to have a light signal at night or in dark weather over the fishing area.

Thanks to the two extensions (one 60cm and one 40cm) with threads, we can easily adjust the length of the PE tubes according to the water column height. The black color of the tubes provides perfect camouflage in the water (practically blending with the underwater environment), while the upper part of the main tube that protrudes from the water is visible, thanks to the reflective bands (red and white) and the bright head (5cm). The two reflective bands are 6cm high each, visible from great distances when illuminated with a flashlight at night.

The illuminated head is completely waterproof, with the twilight LED automatically turning on at dusk and then turning off during the day, allowing it to be seen from hundreds of meters away. The bright head can have a runtime of 450 - 500 hours (operates with two AAA batteries), under continuous operating conditions. Inside the tubes, rubber plugs are installed to ensure complete watertightness, thus providing air chambers for each extension tube.

The enormous advantage offered by this type of buoy is that it doesn't let fish get snagged during the fight. Due to the flexible connector at the base of the lead buoy, it bends and allows the fishing line to pass over it. The tubular segment on which the illuminated head is mounted remains above the water. The buoy is anchored to the substrate using a 2.2kg black sintered lead weight included in the package. The buoy is delivered with two waterproof polyester transport cases (one for the tubes and one for the lead buoy).
