Developed and tested by the most feared angler on the tournament circuit, Kevin VanDam, the Lew’s KVD LFS baitcast reel is built to withstand extreme use and deliver tournament-level performance. Constructed with a one-piece aluminum frame for rugged durability, the Lew’s KVD LFS features high-strength solid brass gears and a pinion gear supported by a P2 Super Pinion bearing, providing precise alignment resulting in smoother operation and extended gear life.

It also features a dual cast control system utilizing both an external disc magnetic brake, plus four individually mounted internal centrifugal brakes on the disc, allowing anglers to make fine adjustments for superior casting distance. A premium bearing system – 10 bearings – with nine stainless steel double-shielded bearings and a zero-reverse one-way clutch bearing also ensures smooth casting and retrieval.

To stop heavy fish loads, the Lew’s KVD LFS is equipped with a robust carbon fiber drag system offering 20 pounds of stopping power. A 95mm anodized aluminum reel handle with Combat Grip paddle knobs provides anglers extra power to land big fish in the boat.

Finished with a zirconium line guide to promote longer casts and an external lubrication port for easy maintenance, the Lew’s KVD LFS baitcast reel offers performance features at a price unmatched by any other reel on the market.
