Lew's HyperMag Speed Spool SLP Series is a low-profile multiplier (being the lightest model in Lew's range), featuring a magnesium body (one-piece frame construction) and carbon side plates with water drainage holes, making it very compact. The gears of LEW'S multipliers are CNC machined using advanced Hamai machinery.

For smooth operation, the multiplier is equipped with 11 (10+1) stainless steel double-sealed ball bearings and an Adjustable Centrifugal Braking System (ACB). The multiple braking system (ACB) utilizes both an external dial to control the magnetic braking system and a centrifugal system with shoes mounted on 4 discs with individual disengagements, enhancing angler comfort during the fight and casts.

The Zero-Reverse technology (an advanced anti-reverse system that prevents backward handle rotation) is also present on this multiplier model. The 32mm anodized duralumin spool offers high line capacity and low weight. The zirconium line guide coated with titanium, double-anodized tension adjustment knob with audible clicks, slightly curved carbon fiber handle (95mm), and custom knob buttons with Lew's Winn® Dri-Tac paddles complete the multiplier's features.
