The Speci Square Net model from Korum features a rectangular shape with a wide opening, making it suitable for both stationary fishing and carp fishing. The frame is constructed from anodized aluminum (12x9mm), enhancing durability while keeping the weight low. The net is made from soft, tear-resistant rubberized polyester microfibers that are gentle on fish skin, dry quickly, and do not retain unpleasant odors.

The landing net head includes a polymer "spreader block" (the system that secures the net arms) that is resistant to mechanical shocks and a universal thread compatible with any landing net handle on the market. The net is designed with a deeper mesh to safely bring in roach, bream, chub, or carp while allowing for easy maneuverability at the water surface. It is recommended that after landing the fish, the net should not be lifted by the handle but should be grasped with one hand at the "Y" connector and the rubberized net with the other hand.
