The Window Combi Feeder is a special basket that can be used both as a window feeder and as a maggot feeder. After being filled with maggots, the window closes by rotating the body, so the maggots can escape through the perforations on the sides and top. Window feeders are closed at both ends and have a “window” cut out on the side for loading. Thanks to the weight positioned at the base of the basket, precision casting at long distances is no longer a problem. With the weight located at the bottom, the basket follows a straight trajectory, resulting in a very narrow groundbait bed and consequently a higher density of fish around the hook area. It provides maximum accuracy even when the wind blows from the side.

The body shape and side cutout allow loading a larger quantity of particles (seeds, pellets) or live bait, without needing a large amount of groundbait. Unlike classic baskets that are open at both ends and require two groundbait “caps,” the particles in the window basket can be secured with a single groundbait cap, which will stay in place during casting thanks to the shape and weight placed at the bottom.

The basket releases its contents only upon reaching the substrate, making it suitable for fishing in deep waters. It is ideal for situations where selective fishing is desired, based on predominant groundbaiting with particles, without loading the swim with groundbait that would attract small fish.
