Korda Textured Distance Casting Swivel Lead

Korda Textured Distance Casting Swivel Lead

The Korda Textured Distance Casting Swivel is a carp fishing lead designed for accurate, long-distance casting and high stability in flight. Its aerodynamic shape and front-loaded weight distribution help maintain a consistent trajectory, making it suitable for fishing on large lakes, reservoirs and other waters where rigs need to be placed at a distance.

The nose-heavy design helps stabilise the lead during the cast and reduce trajectory deviations. This construction makes it easier to achieve long casting distances and repeatedly place rigs in tight areas, including when fishing the same baited spot with multiple rods.

The weight distribution also helps improve the efficiency of the self-hooking mechanism, allowing the lead’s resistance to be transferred quickly to the hook as the hooklink tightens. Its elongated shape balances aerodynamic performance with how the rig behaves on the lakebed, making it especially suited to long-range fishing in open water.

The textured camouflage coating has a matt finish designed to reduce light reflections and help the lead blend into the underwater environment. The rough surface can hold fine sediment particles, helping to disguise the lead’s outline and keep the rig presentation discreet on the lakebed.

The swivel attachment system allows the lead to be connected to various carp rigs, including those fitted with a lead clip. Its design is geared towards long-range fishing, where stability in flight, casting accuracy and rig camouflage are important features.
