It works in exactly the same way, which was revolutionary when Heli-Safe first hit the market. It enabled anglers to equip themselves with long-distance fishing accessories for any presentation in the Helicopter style, but with the ability to release the lead immediately once a fish is hooked. This was a huge advantage in situations with vegetation or when using chod rigs. It has excellent mechanics, ensures a fast and effective self-hooking, prevents the leader from tangling during the cast, and can be used in any situation from boat planting to long-distance casting.
