The Korda COG Flat Pear is a lead designed for the COG (Centre Of Gravity) system, optimised to instantly transfer the weight of the lead when picked up by a carp. The flat design with the centre of gravity positioned centrally allows the lead to be picked up directly from the most effective point, improving hooking mechanics compared to traditional swivel or inline leads.

The lead features a hole placed in the optimal position, fitted with a plastic insert, into which a size 8 swivel is secured. For correct operation and rig security, the lead must be used together with the dedicated COG system, which includes a leadcore of calibrated length for each weight, Lead Clip, Tail Rubber and a Kwik Link for attaching the hooklink.

The Flat Pear version is intended for short- to medium-range fishing, sitting stable on the bottom and ideal for casts to slopes or sloping areas where the lead needs to remain exactly at the point of contact.
