Simms was founded in 1980 by a visionary angler and longtime guide, John Simms. After spending decades providing clients with life-changing experiences on some of the most majestic rivers in the world, John realized that the waterproof gear available at the time didn’t meet the standard required to keep the best anglers dry, comfortable, and safe on the water. So, he set out to create products worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get out on the water earlier and stay longer in any weather.

The interior lining of the hoody is made from a patented black braided material. The sleeves end with elastic cuffs that fit snugly around the wrists. The logo applied on the chest area attests to the quality and authenticity of the product; it is very carefully crafted, and the material feels very pleasant to the touch.
