The Kenart Flash 6S is a sinking lure, handmade and meticulously tested, specially designed for surface fishing of asp. Retrieved at very high speeds, this lure swims in the water film (up to 0.3m), an area where asp often strike. The body contains a lead weight which, during casting, provides excellent loading for long-distance casts.

Flash is not a lure meant to excel in action; it is a "prey" lure, retrieved in the water film when the fish are active. The asp’s strike is lightning-fast, and we can aid hooking with sudden stops. One of the biggest surprises you can get with this model, however, is fishing near the bottom. Due to its heavy body, it will sink like a rattling lure. The downside is that, lacking an oversized lip like a typical crankbait, it cannot easily pass submerged obstacles, and we risk losing it more easily.

However, if you find zander or pike in areas with ledges and sharp drop-offs, don’t hesitate to try the Flash. No other crankbait imitates the shape of the target fish so well for many of our local predators: asp, catfish, zander.
