Katran Fantom Fluorocarbon Line, 30m

Fantom fluorocarbon 100% is the flagship line from Katran. It is made from copolymers using only premium 100% fluorocarbon, manufactured in Japan. With a higher density than regular lines, it sinks 4 times faster than ordinary monofilament lines. It is extremely stiff and abrasion-resistant (shells, crustaceans, stones, submerged vegetation). Thanks to its premium fluorocarbon composition, the non-pigmented copolymers make the refractive index close to that of light, rendering it nearly invisible underwater.

It is abrasion-resistant and has superior knot strength. The Fantom fluorocarbon line is suitable for use as a leader for predatory fishing and is equally effective for carp fishing. In recent years it has become one of the most used lines for rig making, especially in competitions, as well as for pleasure fishing. Due to its ease of use and its properties, it has become highly appreciated by anglers. It can be used both for rig construction and as a leader (shock-leader).
