The Jaxon Magic Fish Frog is a topwater lure made of soft plastic, designed for surface fishing targeting predatory fish, especially pike. The lure can be fished simply, like a frog crossing a lake ("walked-side-to-side"), or aggressively with short 1-2 second jerks for maximum effectiveness at any retrieval speed.

TIP:  Cast the frog without force; the splash on the water acts as a trigger for strikes, even at the end of the cast. When a predator attacks the frog, don’t set the hook immediately. Instead, wait 1-2 seconds and ease the tension to ensure a proper hookset.
