The Jaxon Magic Fish Frog is a topwater lure made from soft plastic, designed for surface fishing for predatory fish, especially pike. The lure can be fished simply, mimicking a frog crossing a lake ("walked-side-to-side") or aggressively with short 1-2 second "jerking" motions for maximum effectiveness at any retrieval speed.

Thanks to the glossy finish on the eyes and the bright colors, the frog is easily spotted by predators, even in low light conditions. Compact and well-balanced, it delivers excellent performance despite its small size. The super-sharp double hook equipped on the frog significantly reduces the chances of losing fish during the fight.

TIP:  When casting the frog, avoid throwing it hard; the splash on the water acts as a strike trigger, even at the end of the cast. When a fish strikes the frog, don't set the hook immediately—in fact, it’s recommended to wait 1-2 seconds and ease the tension so the hook sets properly.
