The 15 cm setback version also includes a holeshot plate, which optimizes water flow under the engine, reduces turbulence, and contributes to quicker throttle response. The robust, reinforced design allows mounting on offshore boats and vessels equipped with large engines, including Mercury Verado, without spacers.
