Humminbird MEGA Live TargetLock Upgrade Kit

The Humminbird MEGA Live TargetLock Upgrade Kit is designed to add the TargetLock feature to an existing MEGA Live Imaging system. The system allows independent control of the MEGA Live transducer direction relative to the trolling motor heading, so the sonar image can remain aimed at the area or structure being tracked.

The TargetLock feature lets you lock the MEGA Live beam onto a selected structure. The transducer direction is adjusted automatically as the boat changes position, keeping the target area on-screen without the need for constant manual steering of the trolling motor.

Separating transducer control from the motor heading allows simultaneous use of TargetLock and Minn Kota Spot-Lock. This lets the motor maintain the boat’s position while TargetLock independently controls the MEGA Live transducer orientation.

The system also allows manual control of the transducer direction to scan the area around the boat. Control can be performed via a compatible Humminbird unit, the TargetLock pedal, or a compatible remote, depending on system configuration.

The kit is intended for integration into the Humminbird and Minn Kota One-Boat Network. For correct operation, Humminbird units, the MEGA Live system, TargetLock and the compatible Minn Kota motor must be running appropriate software versions.
