Humminbird MEGA 360 Imaging Universal is a sonar transducer designed for detailed scanning of the area around the boat. MEGA 360 Imaging technology uses a rotating sonar beam to generate a full 360-degree image, allowing observation of fish, structures, vegetation and bottom changes around the boat.

Unlike a conventional transducer mounted on a trolling motor, the Universal version uses a standalone mount. This means the sonar image orientation is not affected by steering movements of the trolling motor, and scanning can continue even when the boat is held in position using Spot-Lock.

The adjustable universal mount is made from machined aluminum and allows installation on a wide range of boats, including configurations where a compatible bow-mounted trolling motor is not used with dedicated MEGA 360 systems.

MEGA 360 Imaging enables full scanning around the boat, and the scan area can be adjusted as needed. The system offers six beam rotation speeds, up to 10x zoom and the ability to operate in Side Imaging mode.

On compatible Humminbird units, waypoints can be marked directly on the MEGA 360 image, and the range rings make it easy to estimate the position of fish and structure relative to the boat. The image can be used simultaneously with other sonar and chart information via Split Screen modes.

The transducer is compatible with Humminbird XPLORE and APEX units, compatible SOLIX models, and certain HELIX models equipped with MEGA Imaging+ technology.
