The Helix 5 CHIRP DI GPS G3 is the 3rd generation in the Helix series and includes the Down Imaging feature. It features a 5" (12.78cm) diagonal display with a resolution of 480x800 pixels. Equipped with Dual Spectrum CHIRP and delivering 4000 Watt (PTP) power, it can reach depths of up to 366m. CHIRP technology allows for even better identification of objects and fish. With Humminbird SwitchFire technology, you'll get an optimal image regardless of conditions. The built-in GPS antenna and micro SD card slot make the Helix 5 fish finder a complete chart generator.

The Dual Spectrum CHIRP sonar helps identify structures and fish before you cast. Powered by our proprietary Low-Q CHIRP transducer, the Dual Spectrum CHIRP 2D sonar offers two search modes: Wide Mode for maximum coverage and Narrow Mode for focusing on the smallest details. Equipped with a broadband 2D sonar, the fish finder captures super clear and detailed images. Even a small school of fish can be individually distinguished, and a hidden predator can be identified in the image. The true broadband signal is fundamentally different in performance from the pseudo-signals of many other sondes. Most importantly, you can set the start and end frequencies for each signal.

Want to create your own map no matter where you fish? With Humminbird’s AutoChart Live feature, live mapping is possible not only with Garmin. It automatically determines the hardness and vegetation of the bottom and can overlay it with freely selectable transparency through Navionics electronic nautical charts. You have up to 8 hours of recording available with the depth finder — a kind of trial subscription. For longer recordings, you'll need the optional Zero Line SD card, which extends the device's internal memory for several years of navigation. Moreover, the Zero Line SD card is also included in the two complete versions of AutoChart PC and AutoChart PC Pro.
