The Helle Speider knife has been the first knife used since childhood for generations by Nordic inhabitants. Helle traces the origin of these knives back to 1947, when the scout knife with red nets was made. It was designed and is still produced today with two intentions. First, if used by a child, it should be a suitable tool. This means it is sharp and has a functional handle, suitable for more delicate hands. Secondly, it is safe. The two-way guard prevents hands from slipping onto the blade, and the sheath's retention button covering means that once properly stored, the knife will remain there after use.

Manufacturer’s advice: It should be remembered that the most important safety mechanism is proper preparation - children must be taught how to use and respect the knife as a tool. Therefore, make sure the knife is used under adult supervision. Teach them the handling rules and ensure they take care of their knife. And teach them not only how but also where to use it – in nature, in the company of adults.
