Guru Super LWGS Pole Rigs Tied Hooks, 6", 8 per pack

Guru Super LWGS Pole Rigs, 6", 8 per packet

Guru Super LWGS Pole Rigs are ready-tied hooks designed for pole and float fishing, targeting F1s, crucians, bream, carp and other coarse fish. The rigs feature Guru Super LWGS (Super Light Wide Gape Spade) hooks with spade ends and barbless points, tied to Guru N-Gauge monofilament. This range is an updated version of the Guru LWGS rigs, offering a wider choice of hook sizes and line diameters.

Super LWGS hooks are made from strong wire while remaining lightweight, with a wide gape and a fine, sharp point. Their shape allows them to be used with a variety of natural and plant-based baits, including maggots, casters, worms, corn and soft pellets. The spade end makes it easy to present bait directly on the hook, while the barbless design helps you unhook fish more easily after landing them.

The hooks have a protective PTFE coating that provides a matt, low-glare finish, helps prevent corrosion and keeps the point sharp. The wide-gape shape and sharp point help the hook penetrate on the strike, while its strong construction makes it suitable for small and medium-sized fish, as well as larger specimens found in commercial fisheries.

The hooks are tied with Guru N-Gauge monofilament, known for its knot strength, flexibility and consistent diameter. The 6-inch (15.24cm) line length is commonly used for pole fishing, allowing you to control bait presentation and adapt the rig to different depths and fishing conditions. The range includes several combinations of hook sizes and line diameters, so you can choose a rig to suit your target fish and bait size.

At the end opposite the hook, each rig has a connecting loop for attaching it to the main line using a loop-to-loop connection. The hooks come ready tied in uniform lengths and can be stored in 6-inch Guru Stealth Rig Cases. The pack includes a Fish-Size Guide to help identify the right hook size for your target fish.
