Groundbait&Pellets FeederX Carp Magnet is a mix composed of a solid part of groundbait and micro pellets, characterized by a great capacity to attract fish. The following factors were taken into account, resulting in a bait that meets all requirements; this is the secret behind the success of this bait for large fish:

The color of the bait is of great importance, so as not to arouse suspicion in cautious fish, particularly larger fish. The color needed to be as camouflaged as possible and close to the shades found in the aquatic environment. After a series of tests, it was found that a dark brown-green color is the perfect trap for any type of water, at any depth, in any season. Several colors were tested in parallel on lakes holding large fish, and it was shown that the current color of FeederX Carp Magnet brought the most bites from carp weighing between 8 and 20kg.

Since the focus was on large and very large fish, much effort was directed towards the protein value of the bait. Everyone knows that as large fish gain weight, the feed they consume needs to be more substantial. To determine the optimal protein value for large carp, the protein content was gradually increased during tests over the last two years until the bait no longer performed well. Thus, with a clear minimum and maximum range established, it became easy to determine the maximum protein value that is accepted and favored by above-average carp.

The tests concerning the granulation of the bait were intriguing. Testing started with 4 types of granulation to discover the optimal capacity of color and the diffusion power of the natural flavors contained in the bait. Out of the 4 granulation types, one was chosen that offers the best mechanics and demonstrated the highest capacity for releasing natural flavors into the water column. As granulation was established, the average of bites improved, and the waiting time between bites decreased significantly, indicating that the fish were identifying the food source much faster.

Another important factor emphasized was the bait's mechanics. This resulted in bait with a very high ability to hold together, which performs well on method feeders or when fishing at greater distances. This bait uses a mix of 4 types of fish meal with different protein values but with the lowest possible fat content to ensure high efficiency even in cooler waters during spring or late autumn.

Another contributing factor to the effectiveness of FeederX Carp Magnet is the content of algae extract, which gives it a very natural appeal, and it seems that large carp specimens love this tuning with algae extract, likely associating it with a more natural food source for them.

Regarding the choice of color, it was found that in all tested versions where dye was added to control color, the catches of large fish were less successful. For small to medium-sized carp, this aspect did not have a negative effect. Consequently, no artificial dye was added, allowing the bait to have different shades depending on the season of raw material harvesting, just like the color of vegetation during certain times of the year.

Preparation Method: Place the groundbait in a container, then pour small amounts of water while mixing vigorously until you achieve the desired consistency. Since the smaller particles of bait will absorb water faster than the larger ones, the bait will seem well-moistened and ready for use, but after about 15-30 minutes, the larger particles (which absorb water more slowly) will take in water from the smaller ones, causing the bait to appear drier than it did at the end of the first hydration stage. Due to this phenomenon, we recommend hydrating the bait in two or even three stages to ensure that all particles are evenly moistened, thus increasing its effectiveness. For more uniform hydration, we recommend sifting the bait after each hydration.

WARNING: In the second stage of hydration, a much smaller amount of water is needed than in the first stage to achieve the desired consistency. After preparation, for greater effectiveness, baits that we will use on hooks can be added to the mix, such as micro pellets, worms, maggots, casters, or prepared seeds.
