Super Cage Caramel is one of the most versatile baits in the FeederX lineup, delivering good results for any peaceful fish species targeted with feeder basket fishing. Its subtle color is accepted by fish in any situation: whether during inactive periods or when they are more active. The granulation is fine to medium, making it suitable for small, medium, and large fish alike. The protein content is moderate, effective throughout the year on both lakes and rivers. FeederX does not recommend adding any liquid or powder additives to the bait; its texture can be mechanically modified using different types of soil.

Preparation method: Place the groundbait in a container, then gradually add small amounts of water while stirring vigorously until you achieve the desired consistency. Because small bait particles absorb water faster than larger ones, the bait may initially appear well-moistened and ready to use. However, after about 15-30 minutes, the larger particles (which absorb water more slowly) will draw water from the smaller particles, making the bait seem drier than at the end of the first moistening stage. To ensure uniform hydration of all particles and increase the bait’s effectiveness, it is recommended to moisten the bait in two or even three stages. Sifting the bait after each moistening helps achieve an even consistency.

WARNING: In the second moistening stage, much less water is needed than in the first to bring the bait to the desired consistency. After preparation, for greater efficiency, hook baits such as micro pellets, worms, maggots, casters, or prepared seeds can be added to the groundbait.
