The Gardner Covert Dark Chod Hook is a special hook with a 15° outward-facing eye, a medium-length shank, and a micro barb, specifically designed for Chod and D-Rig setups, or other rigs made with stiff monofilament lines meant for floating baits (pop ups, wafters, etc.). The Covert Dark finish (matte black) provides excellent camouflage on the bottom.

The medium-length shank and the eye are slightly angled toward each other, which is a critical feature, as it aids in penetration (the hook turns aggressively in the fish's lip, using knotless knot, Snell, and Domhoff tying methods) and ensures a firm hook hold, which will inevitably mean catching more fish without the risk of missed bites.

The hooks are made from high-carbon steel wire that is double forged at high temperatures, providing exceptional strength. The micro barb and tip are chemically sharpened using a special technology, giving them a long-lasting lifespan. This hook is ideal for fishing in challenging snaggy areas as well as gravel bottoms.
