Fuji Alconite K Series BCKBAG Ring, Dark Grey

The Fuji Alconite K Series BCKBAG rings are a completely new development, based on research conducted by FUJI regarding the high stresses exerted on the rings in the middle section or "belly" of micro rods. Engineers discovered that, in a "power bend," the tension shifts to the middle section of the rod, and ring failure in this area is due to the small foot on most rings detaching from under the wrapping. The BCKBAG rings solve this problem with a wider, notched foot to better fit the diameters of the rods in this area of the blank and to firmly withstand the pulling torque that develops when fighting trophy fish. The BCKBAG rings have a black frame and an alconite insert. Alconite is a guiding material based on aluminum oxide. It offers exceptional smoothness and durability, but at a lower cost than silicon carbide. Fuji Alconite rings were developed to be lighter than SIC, Hardloy, or aluminum oxide. The surface is extremely smooth.
